{Recreating Looks - even with the extra lbs}

April 20, 2012
I was looking through my old photos and came across these 2 and wanted to share how it is definitely possible to revamp items in your closet, in many ways and at different sizes.

I bought this dress probably for around $25, for my trip to Europe in 2010 and last summer I was pregnant with my son... here is to remixing pieces in your closet, even at 7 1/2 months pregnant ;)

All it takes is a little creativity and you can make it work, even with the extra lbs!

anastasia eyebrows celebrity tips eye brow powder recommendation sale sephora

Anastasia Eyebrows!

April 18, 2012
Since I can remember I have been plucking my own eyebrows... I have tried threading and waxing and while I love both, sometimes I just find it easier to do them myself every week.

Well most recently I made the mistake of getting plucking-happy and my right eyebrow looked a hot mess... I have never used eyebrow pencils or powders, but I had to get this fixed ASAP.

My first thought on eyebrow expertise was Anastasia Beverly Hills - I have heard of heard many many times before.

Anastasia Soare, is THE celebrity brow expert. She has shaped Hollywood's elite, from Penelope Cruz, Nicole Richie, Reese Whiterspoon to Kim Kardashian.

I visited Sephora last Friday, of course, and picked up my Brow Powder Duo:

It was just $22.00 and I am in completely love with it. It is very easy to apply and goes on smooth and does not look fake, it has a very natural look and I love that it brings 2 shades, so you can mix them or use the darker or lighter tone.

You will need an eyebrow brush, I purchased the Sephora Collection Double Ended Brow Brush. It is a blue brush, and it was on SALE for just $7!! Originally $18.

So I got both things for just under $30. WIN-WIN!

You can find more of Anastasia's products HERE. I definitely recommend this one.

Happy Shopping!

Skinny Girl Shapers!

April 11, 2012
If you are a Bethenny Frankel fan, like I am, I am sure you saw this episode on Monday and you too are loving her new shape-wear line!

I truly loved that she used real women in her photo shoot and that those real women were also her friends. The line make its debut in May 2012 at Macy's stores, you know I will be getting my "mommy" ass to Macy's next month!

But if you need it now you can also get it here Skinny Girl Shaper, for me I need to try it on and be sure it is my correct size, hence why I will wait till May ;)

I love the sex appeal of it but also the fact that the items truly shaped these women and hugged all the curves. As seen on the show!

Happy shopping!

color block pop of color sandals shoes spring 2012 summer 2012 zara

The newest resident in my shoe closet - color block sandals!

April 3, 2012
Over the weekend I stopped by Zara's to find an Easter outfit for Ben, of course the super cool pants I fell in love with for him, weren't available in his size...

So as I was walking out, it was love at first sight, and quicker than I could say "perfection" I purchased this little caliente pair of sandals!

I have to take a picture of me in them... and when I do I will definitely post it up for you to see.

They are so comfortable and sexy, how could I not buy them? They are made of suede and as you can see the colors are just gorgeous!

I didn't see them at the time, because every time I walk into Zara my bank account suffers, so I try to be in + out whenever possible, but they also have these fabulous colors available!

bargains beauty im-press nails manicure nails stick on nails

Im-press Nails totally impressed me!

April 2, 2012
Lately I find myself having zero time for going to the nail salon and getting my bi-weekly mani + pedi. So I've been doing my own manicure and pedicure at home... Well that's all great but between washing baby bottles, cooking and cleaning - way too many times my nails chip and then I have to do them all of again...

So to save time I decided to finally try out Im-press Nails - my friend had recommended them to me and today I said, why not. For $5.97 at Walmart - I have nothing to lose.

I am so beyond happy with the results, my nails look like I just came from the nail salon. It was super easy and fast, therefore I wanted to show you the result here first.

I decided to go with a simple look for now, to see how it would really work but they have some super fun designs which I will definitely be trying out next!

Here are their 36 designs that are available:

And here is a coupon for $1.00 off - which means you would get a quick, fabulous and easy manicure in minutes, it literally took me 10 minutes at most, for $4.97!

Happy mani + pedi!

E.
