HOW TO ACHIEVE LONG HEALTHY HAIR WITH PANTENE

Confidence in a woman is essential in order to be successful, at least that is how I like to think and how I accomplish my goals and dreams. To some people confidence means dressing to the 9s, your college degree, having great skin… For me, there are a few different variables but one of them is my healthy long locks. There is something about throwing on a pair of heels and letting my hair down that gives me a boost of confidence and makes me feel like I can take over the world. Ladies, I dare you to try having a bad day and a fabulous hair day all together, impossible. Great hair days are synonymous with feeling joyful and happy.

This is why I am happy to share how I treat and maintain my healthy, smooth + shiny locks which a lot of you are always asking me about.

I've been sharing my 14 Day Challenge journey with Pantene on IG and today I want to share my results so far. It's not the first time I am using Pantene, if you guys remember I shared a video a couple of years ago talking about how much I love the brand for my hair and I still feel the same exact way.
My hair routine is pretty simple and it works with my type of hair and texture. You should always do what works best for you, your lifestyle and of course your pretty locks. I wash my hair twice a week and use dry shampoo in between washes. But in order to keep my hair healthy and shiny I also use The Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Leave-In Conditioning Spray. I use it after my washes and I love that it helps to detangle my long tresses, keeps it healthy and smells amazing! Win-win.

MY SKINCARE WITH JAFRA ROYAL

Mom life gets pretty hectic, pretty fast for me so I have to stick to routines, schedules and of course, products that work effectively for me and my family. “Me” time is essential and I always encourage you babes to take some time to yourself. It can be anything from reading a book, getting a pedi, going shopping to using a face mask before bed. Having that time just makes you feel better, like you can conquer the world! For me, my skincare routine is one of those things that I don’t sacrifice, so that “me time” may include a Sunday on my sofa taking care of my skin. Glowy, hydrated skin always puts me in a great mood! So I am always looking for great products that I can use quickly and those that I can see results fast.

My skin always gets a little dry in between seasons, so of course by the end of this summer into fall I noticed my skin becoming dry and dull, so I was happy to partner with JAFRA to share my experience by using JAFRA ROYAL Revitalize for a month. You may remember I shared some of the products on my IG stories and I loved the hydrating formula and how it made my skin look and feel from the start. I remember when I was little my mom used to use JAFRA so when they asked me to partner with them for this opportunity, I immediately said yes because I knew it was a trusted brand even back then.

I had never used the product before so I was curious and wanted to know it all. So I found out that JAFRA’s exclusive Royal Jelly RJx increases the power of natural royal jelly and works with vitamin C, a natural free radical-fighter, to clean, soothe and reinvigorate all skin types. Whenever I am using a skincare brand I always aim for moisture and glow, I noticed these results after about a week of using the products. And I want to share which ones I used most and what routine worked best for me.

I wash my face with the Gentle Cleansing Milk, followed by either the Revitalize Extra Hydration Serum or the Revitalize Line & Pore Perfecting Serum, depending on what kind of skin day I am having. Then I apply my Longevity Eye Creme and voila! If I am going out and it's morning, I do add the Solar Protection Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 50 because we must prevent damage from sun rays all year round amigas.
You guys know I love my masks so I also added the Volcanic Micro Polish Mask to my routine, used it 1-2 times a week and my skin felt smoother. I have to say my favorite product out of the nine products from the JAFRA ROYAL Revitalize line is the Longevity Creme because I love how thick yet not greasy it is and I feel that's the one product that gave me the most hydration and flow.
 
Have you guys every used JAFRA? I totally recommend it if you are looking for a full collection catered to different needs of your skin, especially if you’re like me, your priority is hydration, the glow and of course smooth skin. So I am sharing with you guys (my digital family), friends, primas, tias, neighbors... because it works and I saw results after the first week of following the routine above. 6 WAYS TO MANIFEST YOUR DREAM LIFE

In the passed few weeks, I've been feeling different as a whole. I am still trying to figure out what this "different" means and exactly where I am in life at 34. Whatever it is, the moon, the stars aligning, a new phase for me or simply a "me" who just wants to be surrounded by people that make her completely happy... I like it. And by liking it doesn't mean that it's easy. In fact, it's has't been easy at all. It's almost as if I've completely shed my skin and I'm becoming a new me. I can't explain it very well yet but I know it's the universe speaking to me.

So I decided to speak back. I am speaking my desires, my dreams and my goals into the universe and I am speaking them out loud. And I know in my heart I will achieve everything I set out to, because that's the first step, BELIEVE. You are what you say you are. Good and bad, remember that. I want to share with you how I'm manifesting my soul's desires into my life. Here are some ways you also can manifest whatever your soul is searching for:

1. Meditate. There is nothing more gratifying than sitting peacefully alone with your soul. I have an app called Simple Habit that I love. And I follow @calm on IG - they always post such positive messages, you should check it out. 

2. Affirmations Are Your Best Friend. Literally say what you want to be; I am healthy, I am wealthy, I am happy. That's my morning affirmation and I say it every single day. The more you feed your mind and soul with positive vibes, the more you are training your spirit to attract only the best the universe has to offer. 

3. Vision Boards. It doesn't have to be end of December or January 1st for you to create a vision board. You can do it now. Why wait? You can see how I make mine HERE. They work 100%, I've seen my boards become a reality for years now. But you have to believe deep inside that you are worthy and you are capable. But mostly work your ass off to achieve it. 

4. Pray. Life is tough. Somehow it's become human nature to think life is greener on the other side or that what other people have is what you need in your life. Or that material things and money are equal to happiness. Whenever I feel any of these sentiments, I pray. But I pray to God and thank Him for what I do have and I pray for guidance and focus on my life, not anyone else's. God has yet to disappoint me. 

5. Live Without Expectations. I should take my own advice on this one. This is a hard one for me. It's actually the one thing on this list that is a work in progress for me. But I want to be better and I want to live life without expecting anything from anyone, I know this will only bring goodness to me. I think that's how you find true happiness. I'm naturally a giver, but I always fail at not expecting the same love and attention in return. I am a work in progress, my friends. 

6. Surround Yourself With People Who Make You Feel Good. This is my latest habit. I want to only be around people who show me genuine love, lift me up and make me feel happy. There is no need to be around people that make you feel shitty or that never cheer you on and celebrate your happiness and your wins. Learn how to differentiate who is truly happy for you. Your circle will become small, maybe you will feel lonely but never allow yourself to be around anyone who makes you feel unhappy or not good about yourself. 
I hope these 6 tips help you in your life. And that even if one of these stick with you that they make a difference in the person that you want to be and in the goals that you want to achieve. Sending you all the love and light to end 2018 in a positive and happy way and begin the coming year better than ever.

RUNNING WITH THE DEVILS FAMILY FUN RUN

We did our very first 5K Run and Fun Walk yesterday and it was such a blast... it definitely won't be the last. We had such an amazing time, not just for a good cause but also enjoying the outdoors on such a nice fall morning with my family. I am happy to have partnered with RWJ Barnabas and NJ Mom for this fun opportunity and to bring awareness to all the amazing things RWJBarnabas and New Jersey Devils is providing their patients with building stronger communities by promoting healthy, active lifestyles and world-class healthcare.
 
 
This 5k was a charitable race held at Essex County’s South Mountain Reservation Complex to Benefit RWJBH’s Statewide Network of Facilities. The views were more than stunning... we actually were a little behind because we had to stop and take it nature's beauty and take photos and video. The kids LOVED running and simply looking at all the beautiful trees and waterfall. Now I can't wait for spring to come fishing and walking. 

It was a fun family morning - we enjoyed interactive games, music, face painting and a fun Photo Booth! Did you catch it on my stories yesterday? I also love that Wellness on Wheels (WOW) was on site. WOW is RWJBarnabas Health’s recently introduced mobile education center. We checked out the 35-foot vehicle, it even had a full kitchen! They were handing out some delicious soups! So perfect after our walk/run! The WOW mobile unit will tour many communities throughout the state, reinforcing the value of good nutrition, while providing a unique opportunity to educate families beyond traditional methods to help connect food, behavior and health.

 
Thank you so much to RWJBarnabas and New Jersey Devils for a fun morning! We also loved visiting the Turtleback Zoo after the walk. What a way to end our morning:) I can't wait for another 5k with the fam, I am so glad the kids enjoyed it.
