FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND

Can we rewind back to the beginning of the weekend?
We had such an amazing weekend... what I loved most was the minimal planning that went down. I've always said it, for us, unplanned outings and parties are always the best.
We were all in an amazing mood Friday, we visited our friends and their kids, all the kids got to play and B & Em were exhausted by the time we got home.
Saturday we had a full day! I went to the beach with my girlfriends... it was so needed and so much fun! You may have seen some of the fun on my Snapchat!
I love anytime I get to get away with my girls even if for a few hours... there's nothing like girl time, laughing, reminiscing and just chatting our little lives away. I truly have the best of girlfriends around me. I don't take that for granted one bit.
That afternoon we had a surprise party for one of my friends... it was such a beautiful afternoon, the sunset was everything that night... Sunday we were supposed to have a pool day but the day turned out to be cloudy and we ended up in Point Pleasant at Jenkinson's... if you are from Jersey you know exactly what I am talking about... if you are not, it's a beach with a super fun boardwalk, fun for kids and adults. The kids had such a good time... we loved watching Emme go on her very first carnival ride and Ben had such a blast playing in the sand. That boy loves the sand!

On fourth of July we went to my best friend's house and had a really fun pool day. We ate delicious food, played in the water, relaxed on the swing and simply enjoyed watching our kids play with each other. There is nothing like the love and comfort of having those really old friends... my besties and I have been friends for over 15 years... we were in middle school when we met. They are everything.
Our three day weekend truly was amazing. I hope you all had a really nice holiday too.
I think the 4th has become my favorite holiday! I felt so proud to be from a country that is represented by freedom, diversity and love. Even through all the struggles, there is no better feeling than being from the good ol' U S of A.
