We had an amazing extended weekend, you can catch some pics on my Instagram:)
But now back to reality and reality calls for the most anticipated fashion event of the year!
I've been lucky enough to attend more than a handful of shows over the past two years and I am excited to attend certain events this time too. I've been receiving all sorts of invites for dinners, shows and everything NYFW! I won't be attending any event's this weekend because I have an amazing opportunity to travel and I will be away. More on that this Friday! So stay tuned!
But the real reason for this post is to give you guys an idea on how to dress for NYFW on a budget!
Listen ladies, I am all about shopping racks after racks... and I am a sale lover!
But I have to admit this year things are a little different, with a new baby and a lot of life changes lately, I have not given the mall any attention as of lately.
So I wanted to share some ideas on how you can pull pieces from your own closet to dress super fashionably and chic for at least one of your days in NYC.
Every piece you see here is "old" from my closet... I love how this look came out.
It's simple, elegant and still fashion forward... the sunnies and leopard pumps at a little oomph to this look and I love that extra mile!
My tip is to go basic but bold... catch my drift? We all have a bold, colorful top or skirt! Wear that. And go basic with solid colors... simply add the wow factor  with a fab pair of shoes or accesories.
Wear your best sunnies! The right sunglasses give anyone fabulosity!
Trust me ladies, there has to be something in your closet you can pull off.
On another note, I wanted to let you guys know about this super cute and healthy restaurant my photographer and I brunched in on this day. It's called Brewed Awakening Coffeeshouse and it's in Metuchen. I definitely recommend  it if you are looking for a healthy breakfast or lunch option in town. It had awesome reviews on Groupon and now I know why!
