baby! So as you all know by now we are expecting a baby! I am 21 weeks pregnant and I have been waiting to share the news with you all. We found out the sex of our baby at 14 weeks but we asked the ultrasound tech to put the results in a little envelope for us. We didn't want to know right away, we are very close with our families and we wanted to share the special moment with them. But even though we had the gender results, that was the week of my son's birthday so with one thing or another we ended up doing the actual reveal on August 24. Baby gender reveals are all the trend right now when it comes to pregnancy news. I've seen some mommies get super creative and have detailed and fun parties. We wanted to keep it simple, intimate and sweet and for us it was perfect.We took our decorated box to Party City and handed them the envelope along with the box - we bought pink + blue balloons and asked the girl at the store to put whatever color our secret envelope said. We called our family and met up with them at the park that afternoon. It was the sweetest and most perfect reveal. It was perfect for us! I couldn't wait to show you guys this post. Not only because of the sweet baby news but because I am so excited to also announce I am part of a 4 month campaign with none other than Huggies. From now until December I will be bringing you all sorts of pregnancy and baby posts which I hope you will love. This is my first post for this amazing collaboration. I wanted it to be a special post and nothing was more special during this pregnancy so far than this day to us and I hope you love it as much as we love it and hold it close to our hearts.
I definitely recommend doing this, there is nothing like the feeling of LOVE when you have all your loved ones around to experience such a heart warming and exciting news. With Ben, we had our family come with us to the ultrasound appointment - all 15 of them - and we all found out he was a boy at the same time. It was so sweet that wanted to share this special moment with them again. The emotion and happiness heard in our family's voices in our video fill me with joy and gratefulness any time I see it. It’s
a girl!
....And we couldn't be happier! To say the truth I was happy just having the baby, no matter boy or girl as long as my baby is healthy. She will come into our family and just complete our home. My husband, son and I are so happy I count my blessings daily and thank God for my family everyday. Ben is already the sweetest big brother and he just melts my heart with how polite, smart, loving and perfect he is and I can't wait to bring his little baby sister home to meet him. My kids mean the world to me and I just feel so blessed.
