Hi all, Happy Friday! I  really hope you guys are enjoying my beauty posts. I've always been really on top of my skin, it is something my mama instilled in me at a young age, she always reminded me to wash my face when I was a little girl and as I got older to remove my makeup and even taught me to make homemade scrubs! They are actually super simple tips but as all of us are, sometimes the hustle and bustle of life takes over and we are too tired too remember to take care of ourselves. Here are some tips I use to protect my skin throughout the whole year in order to have healthy and luminous skin. 

1. Exfoliate: Use about 1/2 a teaspoon of brown sugar. Place it on your palm and mix it with a little bit of water. It becomes a natural scrub. Be sure to massage your face in circular motions and wash off. Your skin will instantly feel soft and fresh!  I exfoliate 2 times a week. I think this is one of the simplest and oldest tricks to fabulous luminous skin.

2. Moisturize: I cannot talk about moisturizing enough! I have become almost addict to moisturizing and not just my face but also my hands and body. I moisturize my face 2-3 times a day. Once in the morning after I wash my face and once in the night before going to bed. Whenever I have events and I have to redo my makeup, well I moisturize again. I have been doing it for so long that I almost feel naked without it.

3. Moisturize your BODY: My husband is obsessed with this Deep Moisture Nourishing Body Wash from Dove. I have known him for over 10 years and for 10 years he has been using this. So as any one who lives with their significant other... you start doing the same thing they do! So I use this Body Wash too. It truly is the best, it has a creamy soft feel and keeps my body luminous and soft. We are so obsessed we take the travel size bottles and fill them with it when we go on vacation too! True story.

4. Hydrate: It is no secret that drinking water does amazing things for your health, your body and even your face. I have to continue working on drinking more of it but I do try and as long as you are trying and making strides towards being healthier that is what counts. Water can truly give you a glow, a healthy feel as it hydrates your skin. Probably something you've all heard before but that is how important water truly is for healthy more luminous skin.

5. Restore your natural skin tone: I have been using this Dove Clear Tone Deodorant for the past few weeks and I cannot rave about it more. It truly has helped with my dark marks under my arms and works great to keep me dry and smelling fresh. It is so important to remember that luminous skin should be achieved throughout our entire bodies and not just our face. So this is a good way to renew your skin, because some of have to deal with that irritation from shaving. Well this products is formulated to even out marks and restore your skin to its natural skin tone.

While these are all easy day to day routines, I always love to add a beautiful glow by using blush and/or bronzer to my cheeks it gives a nice natural color that I love. I never forget my lip balm on my lips and of course my mascara, which I cannot live without.
