There are certain little things that make my day... the simple things in a girls life. Life pretty earrings, pink lips and pretty  lashes! And today, it is my amazing Lash Love Lengthening Mascara by Mary Kay, it is their new and super amazing mascara from the Mary Kay makeup line. I was lucky enough to receive a #GlamourLook VoxBox by Mary Kay from my sweet friends at Influenster, complete with the Mary Kay Lash Primer as well as my super girly and fabulous True Dimensions Lipstick in Pink Cherie and more. Here is the look for today's Casual-Friday-Sleek-Bun-Pink-Lips-Flirty-Mascara day!

Hay dias como hoy que lo que me hace super feliz como mujer son las cosas mas pequenas y super femeninas. Pues hoy es mi rimel fabuloso de Mary Kay, es el nuevo producto de la linea de maquillaje de Mary  Kay y se llama  Lash Love Lengthening Mascara by Mary Kay. La verdad me encanto, llevo puesto el Lash Primer y encime el rimel. Tuve mucha suerte en recibir el paquete #GlamourLook de VoxBox con la ayuda de Influenster. Vino complete con el rimel, base de rimel, lapiz de labio True Dimensions Lipstick en Pink Cherie y mas.

Mommy Chic: Plaid + Stripes | Moda Mama: Rayas + Cuadrados

  It was a very humid weekend here in New Jersey this past weekend and we had our friend's 5 year old son birthday party to attend. I wanted to be comfortable and keep cool but still a little chic. I decided to wear shorts and flats for running around after my son and definitely need a ponytail with the humidity that day.

Tuvimos un fin de semana super humedo. Y tuvimos el cumpleanios de el hijo de nuestros amigos. Queria estar comoda y un poquito chic pero a la vez sin calor, por eso me puse estos shorts y me alze el cabello. El dia estuvo muy humedo y ademas iba a estar detras de mi hijo en la fiestita.

I am really loving the mix of prints and patterns trend going on lately. As you can see I mixed it up with stripes and plaid. When you wear mixed prints just be sure that it flows together even if it is a mix-and-match type of look it should flow smoothly. I hope you guys liked this super casual and comfortable look.

The Ultimate Summer Dress | El Vestido del Verano

My birthday was about 2 weeks ago and I received so many amazing gifts from my family, I couldn't be more grateful for their love and for making me feel so special on my day. My sweet grandma gifted me this beautiful and oh so chic dress and I was so happy when I saw it. It is so me and just the perfect summer dress. I think that a tropical dress is a must-have in every woman's closet, so fab and just so chic.

Mi cumple fue hace un poco menos de dos semanas. Tuve tantos regalos que en realidad me senti como una nina chiquita, y la verdad me encanto. Ultimamente, me he sentido como que debo de dejar el miedo a los desconocido y cojer esos pasos que quiero tomar sin pensarlo mas. La unica manera de llenar nuestros suenos es cuando uno mismo hace todo lo posible e "imposible" por realizar lo que en realidad no hace felices. Cotton Candy + Giveaway Winner Announcement

Last week I turned 29. And to be honest I have never felt better. I feel happy, young and extremely blessed. I had a long birthday weekend which I was very blessed to share with my beautiful family and I couldn't have asked for more. I spent Thursday with my boys and m family having dinner and cake at my house. It was a really nice low key evening with lots of gifts! I felt like a little kid, I don't know what I would do without my family, they truly make me feel special. Each of them are my biggest supporters. We had a fab beach day on Saturday and at night we dined and had a couple of drinks at a fab little restaurant in NJ. And this is what I wore.

La semana pasada fue mi cumpleanios numero 29. Les soy honesta nunca me he sentido mas feliz y bendecida que ahora. Tuve la felicidad de haber pasado mi cumpleaniso en compania de mi familia. Que signifaican todo para mi. En realidad son mis fans mas grandes y me apoyan en todo. Me senti como una nina chiquita con tantos regalos, en realidad me hacen sentir muy especial. Disfrute y celebre mi dia todo el fin de semana. El jueves mi familia me visito en casa y el Sabado tuvimos un lindo dia en la playa y por la noche salimos a comer a un restaurant lindo y super chic en NJ.

From me... to Me.

I love a good sale! And when I saw this skirt at H&M for just $7 I almost died, I grabbed it immediately. I knew I wanted the skirt to be the statement piece of this outfit so I went with a solid black top and a simple ballerina bun. I always and forever will love neutral/nude shoes and I got these pretty braided sandals for my birthday last week... and I had to wear them!

Les cuento que compre esta falda por tan solo $7 en H&M. En cuanto la vi supe que tenia que comprarla. Por ese precio cualquiera, no? Quize que la falda se lo que resaltare de este look por eso la combine con una blusa simple negra. Y me puse estas sandalias neutral porque simplemente me encantan los zapatos color piel, van con absolutamente todo! Los recibi de regalo de cumpleanos... 

Back when I was still living at home, I would buy myself a birthday present from me, to me, every.single.year. When I had my baby this is one of the things that changed... but (not to toot my own horn ladies) I work really late every night and work until passed midnight daily. So I told myself "buy it you deserve it" and so I bought myself this pretty Marc Jacobs bag that I had been eyeing for a little while. I love the color, it is such a classic and chic piece to have.

Hace mucho anios cuando era soltera, para cada cumpleanos me compraba un regalo para mi misma... y no es por alavarme yo mismo pero trabajo muy duro...todas las noches me acuesta mas de la media noche y por eso me dije a yo misma "te lo mereces" y me compre esta cartera que me encanta del disenador Marc Jacobs. Ya tenia tiempo babiendo por ella... Se que sera una cartera eterna por que es un color clasica y es super chic.

Color Blast

Life is pretty good to me right now. I count my blessings daily. I truly do what I love and I am so happy you all support what I do. There are so many things I dream of doing and so many projects I plan to fulfill. I can't wait to show you more and more of what I have been working on, for now just know that I appreciate you to infinity and beyond and life simply could not get any better. I wouldn't be able to do what I do on a daily basis without your support and cheers.

He estado muy feliz ultimamente. La vida me a regalado muchas razones por la cual estarlo. Hago lo que en realidad amo y solo tengo a ustedes por quien agradecerles. Tengo tantos proyectos e ideas para mi blog son suenos que poco a poco se me hacen realidad pero no lo puedo hacer sin el apoyo de mis fieles seguidores, como tu. Solo quiero decirles que los aprecio un mundo y que espero que al igual que yo esten muy felizes a pesar de las pequenitas piedras en nuestros caminos... nunca olviden de sonreir.


As soon as I saw this blouse on the Oasap website, I knew it had to be mine. It is so different and such   a statement piece, I love having neutrals in my closet because you can always revamp the look but this top is like art to me, it just screams happiness, energy and love to me and give this look some sass! This look totally reminds me of the flavors of Dasani Drops - fun, refreshing and a blast color!

En cuanto vi esta blusa en la pagina de Oasap sabia que tenia que ser mia. Es super diferente y sobresale en cualquier paisaje. A mi personalmente me encanta la ropa solida pero pienso que esta blusa es un pieza de arte. Siento que da vida al look y ademas como que envia un mensaje positivo de felicidad y energia. Me encanto!

A Baby Story with Huggies + Giveaway!

Ever since I could remember I always wanted to be a mom. As a young girl I always envisioned having 5 kids, yes F I V E ... I guess as an only child I was lonely and bored, jajaja. Well reality set in once I became an adult and we are down to 3 children and God willing we are sticking to that idea. But for now I have one amazing, smart, funny and so handsome little boy, he is our life and truly our sunshine. He brightens up our days and makes life so worth living. You may have seen him around here on my weekly mommy chic posts...


From the moment we brought Ben home I've had some very memorable moments but the one that stands out the most from our very first day at home was when I changed his first pee-pee diaper at home fort he first time. As soon as I opened up his diaper there was a golden shower right onto his little head, I couldn't believe it, I always heard of these stories with baby boys, it was so funny, poor thing! And this was just the beginning of a few "baby diaper stories" to come. I will never forget that day... I tell it to all of my friends who are becoming new moms especially those having boys and I always recommend what works best for me and my child and in this case that was Huggies Snug & Dry. Mommy Chic: Striping Together & Giveaway Announcement!

 I hope you are enjoying reading these mommy chic posts as much as I enjoy writing them. My son is my entire life and it is only fair that he is part of my blog as well. Here we are off to family event. I wanted to be super comfortable but still summer chic, so I wore this maxi skirt I purchased at Marshall's a couple of weeks ago... and since I was going with my hubby I wore my heels! Super comfy ones but still. Ben wore the most adorable bermuda style shorts that my mom bought for him. He was a little crancky, hence his serious face, because I woke him up from his nap!

Espero que les este gustando estos articulos mommy chic tanto como a mi me gusta escribirlos. Mi hijo es mi todo por eso decidi ponerlo aqui una vez a la semana ya que el es obviamente parte de mi dia a dia. Aqui estabamos en camino a un evento familiar. Ben recien se habia levanta por eso estaba un poco serio. Quize ponerme algo comodo pero chic por eso decidi ponerme esta falda maxi pero con mis sandalias de tacos ya que fui con mi esposo y el me ayudo a correr detras de Ben. Ben se puso unos short estilo bermuda que mi mami le compro.

Even though I am not very tall at all! I am 5'1'' I love to wear maxi dresses and skirts, I think that if you wear them with wedges or heels they look just fab on everyone. And I love the bit of bohemian chic vibe that they give out. I styled this fab little skirt with black to give a contrast. I wore one of my favorite cross body bags from Olivia + Joy, they have some pretty fab handbags, that I just love! This bag is such a classic, it can go with everything. Every woman needs one in her closet!

Aunque soy un poco chiquita de estatura me encanta ponerme faldas y vestidos maxi, me parece que dan un look chic y bohemio que me encanta. Combine este look con colores negros para un contraste. Y me puse esta cartera que me encanta es super clasica y todas deberian tener un asi en su closet, es de Olivia + Joy, me encanta sus carteras.

Life's a Beach

 Living in NJ I like to take advantage of summer and every chance I get I head down to the beach. We left super early and headed to one of my favorite beaches with my hubby. It was great going just the 2 of us, I always make it a point to have just me + him time. We started celebrating my birthday early... And this day was exactly what I needed.

Viviendo en NJ cuando llega el verano, me encanta aprovechar de cada momento que puedo irme a la playa. Y eso fue exactamente lo que hize. Aprovechamos y tuvimos un dia en la playa los dos solo, mi esposo y yo, empezamos a celebrar mi cumpleanos. Y fue exactamente lo que yo necesitaba.

I wore this little dress as a beach cover up but it really is a dress to wear out. I bought this dress years ago for a trip to Greece with my husband. Back then I was much skinnier and it fit like a glove.. I always loved this dress so I never wanted to get rid of it. I kept it in my closet and have worn it now 3 different ways. Just goes to shoe you how you can 'recycle' your clothes!

Este vestido que me puse en realidad no es de playa, es un vestido de salir. Lo compre hace mucho tiempo para un viaje que hize a Grecia con mi esposo. Yo era mucho mas flaca en el 2010 y me quedaba como anillo al dedo. Siempre me encanto este vestido por eso nunca lo regale. Sigue en mi closet y me lo he puesto de 3 maneras diferentes. Para que vean que se puede reciclar hasta la ropa!


Here I am in Greece in 2010 and I wore it again in 2011 as a top while I was 7 1/2 months pregnant... I love the print. So the morning we were getting ready for the beach I decided to wear it once again, this time, as a cover up! And I still love it as much as I did 3 years ago.

Aqui estoy en Grecia en el 2010 y de ahi en el 2011 con 7 meses y medio de embarazo. Me encanta el estampado del vestido. La manana de el viaje a la playa decidi ponermelo de nuevo esta vez como cover up. Y me encanta hoy tanto como hace 3 anios.

And as always protect your skin! Not just when you are at the beach or the pool... And not just on your body ...Don't forget to wear your facial SPF daily! I wear mine every morning in my moisturizer. And I wear a hat every single time I go to the beach. It is so important to protect our skin ladies! My body and face never match lol - my face is always much lighter so I wear bronzer every time I put my makeup on. You can see a little bit of that in this photo.

Como siempre, no se olviden de protejer su piel. No solo cuando van a la playa o piscina. Y no solo su cuerpo, tambien protejan su cara a diario. Yo use mi SPF en mi suavizador facial todos los dias, hasta en invierno. Es muy importante protejernos la piel. Mi cuerpo y cara nunca combinan por eso cada vez que me maquillo me pongo bronceador.
