This passed weekend we made our way into Branch Brook Park in Newark, New Jersey and we had the best time with the kids. The popular event in April at the park is the stunning Cherry Blossom Festival. It was my first time
visiting and I loved it. There were food trucks and music and games for the kids, it was truly a perfect Sunday spent with my little family.
We made into the park at around noon and played ball and bubbles with Emme and Ben. We had a nice picnic lunch and truly just took in the beauty of our day. There are so many little places in New Jersey that I am eager to explore this spring and summer, I have a little list! I hope to share more of that with you pretty soon. That's all for another post.
I wore this amazing blush polka dot off the shoulder top I am so in love with and finally got to wear this denim skirt I got at H&M for just $5! No kidding. Because we were with the kids I made sure to wear my favorite Steve Madden slip-on shoes. This is such a perfect weekend look whether you are hanging out with the kids or not, it's a little bit comfy and a whole lot of chic.

If you are into neutrals and looking to amp your wardrobe this season, I say go for the blush pinks. It's a nice tone and truly can be matched with everything. Blushes and neutrals are my jam.
I hope you are having a great week, it's been super rainy here in New Jersey the entire week but the sunshine is set to arrive this Friday with 80 degree weather so I am super happy for that.
