BACKYARD MOVIE NIGHT PARTY

Ahhh I can't believe I am finally able to sit down and work!
As you guys know, it's been a crazy-busy passed few weeks for me with our move and all, but slowly things are getting back to normal.
I am so happy I was able to host this little backyard movie party for my kids and a couple of their friends in between all the mayhem. It's always good to take a moment to breath and enjoy the beauty of your day. We've had some amazing fall days here on the East Coast, and I took full advantage of it and planned a mini movie night out in my new backyard. We didn't want to do it too late because it does get a little too chilly at night, but we made sure to bundle up the kiddies.
I love party planning and especially cute ideas like this one.
I headed to my local supermarket and picked up our favorite popcorn: Orville Redenbacher's Pop Up Bowl. The kids and I love it because it's so easy. All you do is pop (pun intended!) the little paper bowl in the microwave, and two minutes later it's ready! Easy and no mess! Of course, I had to add fun little details to make this kids' movie party a total hit. We had everything from the kid's favorite candy and chocolate (because no movie night is complete without it!) to little "movie tickets" as admission passes, just to make it fun for them. The kids love our little evening in the yard and the movie was a total success. Of course, they didn't sit throughout the entire two hours, but at least they had fun and were super exhausted and sugar-wasted by the end of the night.
I love when we make sweet memories. I always love to photograph them and keep the photos in their memory books. I think this will be a little fall tradition we can integrate from now on. I will most likely host the next one in the summer-we can even camp out! How fun would that be! I know the kids would love it. Nothing like time spent with friends and delicious Orville Redenbacher's Popcorn to add to our family memory book. I hope you enjoyed this fun little idea for your next party!
