Last Thursday I was invited to a great event, "Dine with Derek"which was held at the ubber cool Manon in NYC. It was a fun night that brought together some of NY/NJ amazing bloggers in order to celebrate Bella Magazine's new style director, the fabulous Derek Warburton. Models walked down the venue with the latest spring trends styled by Derek himself of course! It was definitely a fun night and I am so happy I was able to attend and also see some of my favorite blogger babes. I was so sad I forgot my camera but Melissa from MelissaSweetsStyle was kind enough to snap some outfit pics and lend me a couple of her pics from the event. Love to have blogger friends near by, makes parties much more fun!
Here are a few pics of what I wore to the event. I wore this BCBG dress as a skirt! I simply folded it inward to create a skirt look! I think it came out great and such a fun way to re-purpose summer style dresses! Originally I was going to wear shoes but decided on boots last minute because it was a little cold.
