I have this gorgeous dress I wore back in May for a Mother's Day post which I wore again a couple of weeks ago for a family party and it fit much loser than back in May, I guess I've shed a couple of lbs and I wasn't even trying, score! So I wanted to take advantage of the fact that it no longer fit so great and I decided to style the dress as a skirt. And while in my closet I found this older long sleeve shirt dress that I love... one of those pieces you just can't part with. So in reality though it looks like I am wearing 2 separate pieces; a shirt and a skirt... I am really wearing TWO dresses for this look. I thought it was such a fun thing to do create a edgy cool look with older items from my closet. I love a good re-purposed outfit. It makes me feel like I bought new stuff and saves me some money too. Trust me ladies, we can all revamp and restyle our closets without spending a buck. Just takes a little creativity!

Tengo un lindo vestido que me puse para el dia de las madres en mayo de este anio. Me lo puse de nuevo para una fiesta familiar hace dos semanas y no me quedo igual, al parecer he perdido peso y me cada mas suelto. Pues estuve pensando y quize ser un poco creativa y crear un look con piezas que ya tengo en mi closet. Por eso me puse DOS vestidos para este look. El vestido esta doblado hacia dentro creando la falda que ven en estas fotos... y como encontre otro vestido que me encanta y es viejito me lo puse como camiseta. Asi que aunque no lo crean tengo puesto dos vestido aqui. Cual me encanta porq cree un look completamente nuevo con piezas de mi closet sin gastar ni un centavo. Todas tenemos ropa "reciclable" solo toma un poquito de paciencia y creatividad!

This is another pair of boots I purchased from TJMaxx as part of my Shoe Haul a few weeks ago. I paid just $49.99 for them. They are Steve Madden and just perfection. I added gold accents and a red lip to this look in order to make it super fun and a little edgy. I really love this look, it's a fun outfit idea for a night in the city with friends. I love that it's girly and edgy all in one.

Este es otro par de botas de mi compra de zapatos en TJMaxx hace unas semanas. Creerian que pague tan solo $49.99por ellas? Son de Steve Madden y son preciosas y comodas. Le di un toque un poquito rockero pero a la vez femenino, con detalles dorados y labios rojos. Es un look perfecto para una noche en Manhattan con sus amigas.
