Target Style Fall Fashion Show

When I received the invitation from Target to attend their Fall Fashion Show, I was ecstatic. I am a loyal Target shopper, you can catch me there are least 3 times a months. So to know I was covering the Target Fall Collection Show was a no-brainer for me and immediately said YES! It was definitely a production of an event. It took place at the amazing Pier 57 in Manhattan. There were cameras everywhere from the moment you walked in. They were also filming  for their fall campaign commercial, so that was super cool to experience. It was just an amazing show all together. The clothes, the amazing models and the dancers were adorable. They definitely were the life of the show. I filmed a little video that you can watch at the end of the post, pictures just didn't capture the energy of that night... hope you love it as much as I did. On to the fashion...

Black and white are definitely still a hot commodity this fall season. There were a lot of blazers (my favorite for fall through spring) this Merona blazer and ankle pant were just chic and fabulous. I think this is a perfect outfit for work and play. I love any outfit you can turn into a fun night look.

I love big comfortable sweaters and this Merona open lapel sweater is such a cute idea for any day this fall. It can be dressed up and down for a night on the town or just a movie date. Pair it with these black leggings and ankle boots and you are ready to go.

Blouses are my life all year round, so I was happy to see my favorite styles of them on the runway. I wear them to my office job as well as to dinners and even just for casual Sunday looks. They are my life savers. Another must-have key item in every woman's closet. This one is by Mossimo.

I didn't get a full frontal of this look but it was definitely school girl badass. This Xhilaration houndstooth red skirt was the key to this look, paired with a white blouse and Mossimo plaid short sleeve sweater, it definitely was a cool edgy look. The fringe bag was the cherry on top!

This embellished look was tres chic. It was a very fun yet classic style. The shirt was detailed in sequins and the grey wool blazer was so classic. These pieces are a great alternative because you can mix and match each of these to obtain quite a few different looks.

I wore this pretty Merona dress by Target. I was extremely happy with my pick. It was comfortable and super chic. I will be posting full outfit details soon. Thank you for all your sweet comments on Instagram. Don't forget to follow @lolabluethecloset for up to the minute pics on all events throughout New York Fashion Week SS2014! Overall, there was a lot of chic mixed with classic pieces. From the classy black and white looks to the oh-so-girlie embellished pieces, classic tailored items and the super chic and cool layered look.I am one that doesn't love coats. So I do layers for fall and winter! It is such a cool way to keep warm and run from the door to the car and vice versa. The grand finale was pretty awesome. I felt like I was on the set of Glee! It was just such a fun, fresh and colorful and musical show. I can't wait to pick up a few pieces at Target this month. I love that they are super versatile and prices are so affordable!

Here is a little video I recorded because you definitely needed to be there to catch the fab set and vibe!

Don't forget shopping is your cardio! Loved this model and display! So me:)
