DREAM. BELIEVE. ACHIEVE.: A Vision Board Workshop

January 29, 2020
I hosted my first event last week and it was a complete SUCCESS! I never imagined (but sure hoped!) I would sell out in just one day! As a matter of fact, the only reason I waited this long to host an event was because I was fearful no one would want to come. Boy, was I wrong.
We hosted DREAM. BELIEVE. ACHIEVE. at the stunning Maritime Parc in Jersey City. From the moment I walked in to the restaurant I fell in love with the space. The NYC views are to die for and the room is a blogger's dream. Located on the perimeter of New Jersey’s Liberty Landing Marina, Maritime Parc is a modern answer to the classic coastal fish house - friendly vibes, fine food and beautiful scenery.

We welcomed every guest with D.B.A. bags sponsored by Kyrz's Closet filled with goodies from all of our sponsors and a fun cocktail hour with cheese boards, wine and exquisite drinks. After some mingling we got to work! I wanted to create a beautiful, positive space for everyone to open up, meet new people and envision their dreams and goals and truly believe that they can each be manifested if we work hard enough to achieve them and believe in ourselves.
The energy in the room was beyond my wildest expectations. I wanted to create a vision board workshop because what better way to start the year, excuse me, THE DECADE, than with a party to share and manifest our dreams and goals? Through the years, vision boards have manifested right in front of my eyes and now I felt it was time to share the hows and whys with every one of you.
I designed these cards for each guest to take home with tips on how to create a vision board that will truly manifest. It was a total hit!

Each table setting was decorated with super chic and beautiful goodies from our sponsor Yoobi - from agendas, notebooks, tape dispensers, markers, scissors... Yoobi made our vision board party possible with all the cute materials they provided, everyone loved them!

Every one of my guests took home swag bags from our wonderful sponsors: itCosmetics, Sol de Janeiro, NJMOM, MissLola, Yoobi and Kyrz's Closet. Attendees took photos by our beautiful backdrop created by Creative Twist Events, who decorated the space beautifully! Here are some great photos from this amazing night!

Thank you all for an amazing night.  And I am forever grateful at the turnout... we sold out 75 tickets - what is life!? I hope that each of you went home inspired and feeling good about your goals and determined to make sh*t happen, no matter what, you got this sis!

Special thanks to all of our amazing sponsors:

PUPPY ADOPTION BIRTHDAY PARTY

Is there a better birthday party theme than a puppy adoption birthday party? I think not! Emme is an animal lover and when Joanne from Creative Twist Events suggested we plan a Puppy Adoption Party for her 5th birthday party, I screamed with excitement! Genius idea! Joanne is so good at ideas and themes, I love her work and I think so will you!
So this past weekend we celebrated Emme's big birthday and it was a complete success. We were lucky enough to host our party at the adorable Creative Twist Events in Metuchen, NJ. Joanne - the owner - is beyond creative and detail-oriented, she came literally make any theme come to life! And she made Emme's puppy dreams come true this day. Every single detail at the party was beyond my imagination. It was just the most perfect 5th birthday party ever. We invited 12 of Emme's closest girls to come "adopt" a puppy of their choice, DIY a collar and matching bracelet... decorate their puppy house, dance and eat their way through the party - the cotton candy was the best!
I originally thought that two hours would feel rushed with all the activities planned but I was so wrong. The party flowed so well, I had time to mingle with all the adults and it was so smooth. I can confidently say this was the most relaxing party I've ever planned for my kids and I've been planning parties for the past 8 years. The team at Creative Twist Events truly does an amazing job at doing EVERYTHING. All I brought was the cake, cupcakes and puppies!

The kids had a blast, my favorite part was the dance off! Emme can typically be shy but she was on that dance floor dancing her little booty off. It made me so happy. At the end of the day she said it was the "best day ever" and that made my mama bear heart melt!
