I love a good trend and this spring/summer season the palm tree print is everywhere; from bags to swimsuits to this amazing two-piece I bought at a little boutique at the mall. I love the silk material and how pretty it falls right on my body. I got both pieces for $50 which I thought was a great deal. If you know me, you know that when shopping I am always thinking of how I am going to wear that piece of clothing more than once. What I love most about two-piece items is that you can mix and match them and wear them with different tops and bottoms. Truthfully I love the top and I can't wait to wear it with my favorite pair of jeans.
Whenever you are in doubt about a trendy piece, my advice is not to spend a fortune because trends go out of style and personally I would rather spend my money on a classic item. You can find these shoes which are practically Monica Chiang inspired, at Forever 21, I believe they were $35 and I am obsessed with them. They are actually pretty comfortable too.
