Happy Monday! It's nearly 10 at night and I am finally having a moment to get on my laptop since pretty much all of last week. I am so behind on emails, posts and drafts... But truly this is what makes me love what I do even more. I can turn it off whenever I want to. And I did just that for my baby.
Ben turned 5 today and it's been a crazy hectic few days. All my attention and energy was focused on his big day and his birthday party. We had such great time at the party yesterday... Ben had about 3 tantrums - very surprisingly because
that is so not like him. But I guess he was having a "it's my party and I cry if I want to" moment. Thankfully they were short lived! And he truly enjoyed his party along with our family and friends.
Today, we took him to a water park all day and we had such a nice time, I truly felt like a kid again... and it was everything. I was a little emotional in the morning, just thinking back to the passed 5 years. I had a very emotional moment alone on my bed as Ben slept right next to me. I stared at him for a long time and prayed to God to always keep him safe and keep him healthy. I think that's everyone's wish for our children. There is nothing that I pray for, more than HEALTH for all of us.
