EMME'S NURSERY TOUR

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Munchkin and Latina Bloggers Connect. As always all opinions are my own.
As you guys know we moved in to a new house last fall and little by little we have been decorating each room in the house. For today's post I partnered with Munchkin to share our daughter's room. I am really happy to give you guys a little tour of Emme's nursery. Her room is pretty much finished, we are just redoing her closet this summer and then it will finally be complete.
Her nursery is actually pretty small so I had to be really wise when choosing furniture and nursery essentials, like our Munchkin diaper pail, which is a must have for any nursery. Personally I love the sleek design and how neat and fresh it keeps our her nursery. As a lover of all things pretty, the diaper pail adds a modern and seamless look into the nursery, it controls diaper odors and we love the easy and convenient foot pedal. I would definitely recommend you add it to your registry.

From the moment I was pregnant, my vision for the nursery was very feminine with pretty details and soft colors... I love to play with textures and especially love combining metallics; I added both golds and silvers into her room. Thing like her beautiful silver chandelier to the gorgeous gold bird decor hanging from her reading nook are some of my favorite details.
I opted for a small dresser but with spacious drawers, this one is from Ikea, I simply added beautiful crystal knobs to it and voila! I searched high and low for the perfect mirror and I was able to find the ideal one at Home Goods for under $100. As you can see there are pops of turquoise all throughout the room to add balance and contrast to the golds and pinks.
One of my favorite corners in her room is the little reading nook, for safety I knew I wanted a smaller bookshelf and placed the books (heavier items) on the bottom. I still want to add a little poof or chair and maybe a furry rug to that corner.
By adding cute meaningful details, nurseries become more than just a room, they become meaningful and much more sweet. Things like her name banner over the closet are just the perfect custom items  that will make your baby's room complete. If you are also working with a small space for your baby's nursery I recommend you do your research on the right size furniture, get ideas from Pinterest, include items that are must haves, work with what you have, be creative! If you put enough love and thought into any room, no matter how big or small, trust me you can make it as beautiful as you envision.
I hope you enjoyed Emme's room tour, if you have specific questions or would like a full video of her room, please let me know I would be more than happy to share.
