Happy Thanksgiving Eve you guys!
I am so happy because we are going to have a "warm" holiday this year. It's going to be 60-65 through Saturday here in New Jersey. That's huge you guys! Here's a super chic and casual look I wore over the weekend that I think is perfect for running around this weekend shopping all the Black Friday sales. I especially am obsessed with this poncho and I am actually wearing it again today.
...
But the real reason for this post is because I wanted to drop in and wish you a very sweet and joyful Thanksgiving. May you be celebrating with your loved ones and making memories to last a lifetime. This year, I am hosting a full 12-15 people dinner! A little nervous but mostly just excited. The downside? My mom will be one of those people working retail tomorrow, from 2pm to 11pm on Thanksgiving Day. I hate it and it makes me angry.
I hate that she won't be spending our first Thanksgiving in my new house with us. But I am trying not to make her feel worse and just act like it's ok. I will be sending her food and also prepping a special brunch for her before she has to leave to work. But what matters most is that she is healthy and happy. I am mostly thankful for her. She is where my story begins and I am so grateful to God that she is here with me and we get to spend another holiday season together.
I have so much to be thankful for that one post wouldn't be enough.
My family is my joy and I am so thankful to God for that.
I wish you everything beautiful and happy and please remember to do a good deed at least once this week. I've been working on mine all week and it sure feels great.
And not just tomorrow but always, let's try to be better humans so we can build a great future for our kids and their families on day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I love you all and I am so grateful for all of you in my life.
You've changed me forever. Xo.
