The holidays are my favorite time of year!
There is nothing like the love and joy this season brings. Being a mom, I know how stressful it can get and how we tend to forget about ourselves in the mayhem that comes with this time of year. We have to be on top of gift lists, dinner prepping, hosting and, of course, dressing our best.
That's why today, I am sharing three super-stylish looks that I think you should try this season.
I teamed up with Target and my assigned theme was Holiday Creations.My challenge was to create three totally different outfits using just a few pieces that are super versatile, trendy and perfect this winter season. Each one of these looks was created with the Holiday Equations theme in mind.
Just like you, I have a long to-do list for the next month. I am hosting Thanksgiving this year, so I have to make sure that not only is dinner perfect and delicious, but also the table looks to the T. But I also want to be sure I am spending my money wisely when it comes to my wardrobe choices. Therefore, I want to share my tips and tricks with you so you can also be at ease but still feel confident and stylish as you host or attend, and, most of all, enjoy the spirit of the holidays.
This first look is perfect for "Friendsgiving" dinner. I am totally obsessed with this fringe vest. The possibilities are endless with this piece! This is a super-chic OOTD that I want to wear over and over again. I love to mix textures and shades of the same hue. The sequins on the bag give this look the perfect amount of glam. Combine that with the fringe on the vest, and you are a rocking a super-cool, laid-back but totally stylish look. Not too over the top—just enough glam to turn a few heads.
I created this second look with Thanksgiving in mind. I think it's the perfect balance of casual and chic. A must-have not only this season, but also all year round is a black dress. And I loved this one from Target because it has the right amount of marbled print to take it to the next level, being anything but boring. You can add the same fringe vest and bag from the previous look for a completely different but still stylish outfit—one that I will be rocking this Thanksgiving.
Saving the best and most glamorous Target look for last.
There is nothing that screams glamour more than fur—make that faux fur to be exact, and you are winning at life. Not only did this snood take this dress to another level, but it also made me feel like a million bucks. From my closet to my living room, mixing sequins and fur is everything to me right now. And this outfit is definitely one for the books. Easy but so put together!
All you have to do is add a classic red lipstick, style a simple high bun and voila! You've got yourself the perfect New Year's Eve outfit for a fraction of the cost of any designer look with the same exact va-va-voom effect! It's all about being creative and smart with your money this season, ladies.
