Being a Latina is something I am so proud of, it is what makes me the woman I am today, it defines me as a mother and as a wife. For those of you who don't know I was born in Miami, raised in beautiful Guayaquil, Ecuador until I was 10 years old. I lived in my grandma's house my entire first decade; where females rule by the numbers, I have 7 aunts! Ever since I can remember I was always dressed in my favorite dresses, bows on my hair and Mary Janes. I learned to be a Mini Divina Latina early on! I came to live in New Jersey on a fateful May 1993 but I never left my roots and memories behind. My life in Guayaquil is nothing short of simply the best childhood I could have ever wished for. I believe it shaped me in all aspects.
There is no denying we have a Latin spark and sass like no other! A love for music that makes my heart skip a beat whenever I hear a tune that connects so deeply with my root. We have a tight relationship with our families, we are nurturing and love to feed people... true story! And I have to admit ladies, as vain as it may sound there is no denying that our women are super caliente and ooze sex appeal and confidence. A Divina Latina is you and me, my mother and my abuelita, my aunts and my primas, we are all different women but we have so much in common. We are strong and emotional, we are great cooks and fabulous moms, caring wives, we simply juggle many hats. But what keep us, confident is that we pride ourselves in looking fabulous everyday. As a Divina Latina, I truly enjoy wearing my heels daily, wearing skirts and having a the perfect red pout. I am proud to say are definitely are a hot little race and I couldn't be more proud to say I am a Divina Latina. Lipsticks on, heels on and always red carpet ready!
