Fall Must Haves: Beauty + Fashion

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Latina Bloggers Connect and Neutrogena.

With back to school season here I wanted to put together some fashion and skin care tips that I personally use as I transition into fall. One of the most important things to remember is that you don't only have to transition your closet but also, most importantly, your skin care regimen. As for me, my skin is always more dry during the change of seasons. So I make sure I take charge and use the products that work best for me. I have been using Neutrogena products for a very long time. Since I was a teenager as a matter or fact... It is definitely one of the brands that works best for my skin and where I see the results immediately.

Here is a look into my daily facial care routine:

WASH my face with Neutrogena Oil Acne Wash leaving my face feeling absolutely clear and fresh. This face wash is oil free and has a gentle wash formula that you feel and see instantly. It cleanses deep down into my pores for clear and radiant skin. At the same time it has an exfoliating factor and helps treat and prevent breakouts.

MOISTURIZE my face and neck using Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night and yes I use it during the day and night. It is a very lightweight moisturizer that I love, so I use it twice a day. It contains retinol sa which actually is excellent treatment for preventing acne. A tip a beauty expert told me! It visibly smooths wrinkles and fine lines and overall texture of the face. Also helps with dark spots and discoloration which I have both and I've seen improved on. I am a die-hard fan of this product. It is amazing for my skin.

PRIME. Right after my moisturizer, I apply the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 15 I love it because it helps extend the wear of my makeup and also smooth any imperfections for a flawless look. It contains Natural Soy which is a a proven tone correcting ingredient.

CONCEAL, COVER + MAKEUP. One piece of makeup I can't live without is concealer, so I use it daily. I use Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector as my tool to conceal bags under my eyes and my signs of no sleep! It is creamy and light and does not crease, very important! Especially when you are a woman on the go! I then apply a light base powder all over my face for complete coverage. And then simply add the Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush & Bronzer, I love to combine both! And to complete my natural fall look I end with a black lash extending mascara such as the Healthy Lengths Mascara... and voila! I am ready to go.

And as you know if you follow my daily, I love to add a pop of color to my lips any chance I can. I am especially loving all the reds and deep plum lipstick shades lately. They are perfect for fall and will add a bit of sass to any outfit. It just makes me feel complete! Of course I do also love a natural color gloss... just all depends on what I am wearing and where I am going that day.

STYLE... of course no season transition is complete without the closet must-haves! Above I put together a fun and chic board of my favorite Fall Style pieces you will need come September. This season we are all about pops of color to accentuate your darker fall tones. A mustard yellow or hunter green handbag adds spark to any outfit. As far as accessories go, don't forget to grab a bold scarf which will instantly take your fall look to another level.

Graphic tees are so fun and easy to take from summer right into fall, just add a edgy biker jacket like the white one above and it becomes a different outfit. Boots, boots, boots...  my favorite part of fall and winter season. I live in boots! If you have a limited budget then I recommend you get 2 pairs. One pair of fab suede black booties for work and play! And of course the ever-so-comfortable and chic brown knee-high riding boots, for a more casual and comfy look.

Leather and plaid are two of my favorite trendy pieces this season. Plaid is totally back and fabulous! So get a cute button down, they are every where right so you can play around with prices. And a skirt is a must have for me all year round.. so I loved this plaid school girl style paired with a simple and feminine white blouse. Finally you can buy a leather or as I prefer a faux leather pants anywhere right now. I am all about the fit and comfort. I can wear them for a night out in the town or simple with a knit sweater for a mommy chic look!
